Loison Genesis Pandoro Classic is an Italian Christmas treat you can enjoy at any time of day. Naturally leavened product, with the typical shape of pandoro. The yellow dough is made with fresh milk, butter and natural Madagascar Vanilla* and the surface is enriched with icing sugar.

Pandoro is traditionally coated with powdered sugar just before serving. The best way to do this is to empty the sugar into the bag containing the pandoro, hold the bag tightly closed and then shake! Slice and enjoy for breakfast, afternoon tea or dessert.

To turn the pandoro into a caramelised treat, lay an un-sugared pandoro on its side and cut into 1-inch thick cross-sections. Pop under a grill to lightly toast each side. Then sprinkle one side with the powdered sugar and place back under the grill to caramelise the sugar. Watch it very closely to make sure it doesn’t burn! Serve with fresh fruit and a drizzle of cream for light, yet indulgent dessert.

Loison Genesis Pandoro Classic is packaged in a polypropylene bag closed with an aluminium band and contained in a bottomless cardboard box with the colour according to the flavour wrapped by a printed paper and a flat customised double satin ribbon, the plot is a tribute to the palladium colonnade. The pendant label is stopped by a new seal: a bar like brass, complete the elegant product.

Loison have been baking panettones and pandoro for over 75 years, started by Tranquillo Loison in 1838. Today his grandson Dario cares for the business. For Loison’s ‘top line’ panettones and pandoro, all the ingredients are carefully selected by Dario: the freshest eggs, butter and cream from Italy’s mountain farms, and fine Italian flours and sugar. The naturally leavened cakes and breads are made with the traditional sourdough process. Each yeasted cake takes 72 hours from beginning to end, which gives rise to their exquisite texture and rich flavour.
