Did you know that each 120g Nush serving contains 35 Sicilian almonds? Here below this and many other interesting facts about these creamy and delicious almond milk dairy-free yoghurts!
NUSH STORY
At Nush Foods they believe in doing dairy free differently. That’s why they use the highest quality natural ingredients and the most ethical suppliers to create delicious rich and creamy dairy free and soy free yoghurts.
Nush was born out of a passion in 2016 and the founders Bethany and Paul started with the UK and Europe’s first ever Almond Milk dairy free yoghurt range in four delicious flavours and now they include Organic Cashew Milk Yoghurts too!
They use only their own artisan almond milk, freshly prepared each day in their own factory in Kent, so that they can control how much almond the milk contains.
Unlike shop bought almond milk that can contain as little as one percent almond, plus many unfavourable fillers, almond milk produced by Nush contains a very high concentration of almonds.
THE POWER OF ALMONDS
Almonds are a nutritional powerhouse, containing a higher concentration of nutrients per gram than any other nut. They are a natural source of hunger-satisfying protein and contain calcium, renowned for aiding bone health.
Every single pot produced by Nush is created to be as nutritionally beneficial as possible and is made with the finest ingredients available. That’s why Nush has more nuts in its almond milk yoghurt than any other brand in the UK.
Each 120g serving contains 35 Sicilian almonds. These almonds come from Avola and are the highest quality on the international market. Moreover, Sicilian almonds are kind to the environment as they require very little water to grow, unlike Californian almonds that reportedly use 5 litres of water to grow one almond!
These delicious almonds are blended with filtered water and vegan probiotic cultures. The result is a deliciously light and creamy yoghurt that can be enjoyed as a direct swap for the traditional dairy variety.
