Nibble are a new and unique snack designed for people who are on the go and want something that’s tasty but not full of sugar. They are a great hit with kids too!
“We didn’t want a snack that just sounded healthy, but was actually full of sugar. We were looking for a lovely, low GI option. Something really yummy – not worthy-tasting or weirdly unnatural. Nibble founder, Erin Moroney, developed the brownie recipe for her 12-year-old niece, Julie, a notoriously fussy eater who rarely ate any protein (but loved brownies). To help boost her niece’s protein intake (and lower her sugar consumption!), Erin set out on a mission to develop a brownie recipe that passed the Julie-test (ie. it couldn’t look too healthy otherwise she wouldn’t even try it!).”
The result; delicious dairy free, vegan brownie bites that are low in sugar and are a source of protein and fibre.
A lot of similar snacks are often sweetened with dates or brown rice syrup. However, Nibble are different in that they use low-GI dried plum puree to add sweetness.
“You’d never think that these little chocolatey wonders are 20% antioxidant-powerhouse dried plum purée and 18% plant protein. They just taste like decadent mini brownies! Packaged in a cute little single serving 24g pack, each bag is under 100 calories with just 4g of sugar!”
There are four flavours to try in convenient, re-sealable packs:
Lemon with Coconut
Mocha with Cacao Nibs
Sour Cherry with a hint of Orange
Choc Chip Cookie with 72% Dark Chocolate
